Bouldering requires you to engage everything from your core to your fingertips. Core strength is the real focus. Bouldering is so much fun that you might not notice you had a big workout. And guess what? Bouldering burns up to 800 calories per hour!

2. It makes you feel good.

Bouldering forces you to completely immerse yourself in solving the various bouldering problems, trying different techniques and methods. Pushing yourself mentally in each hurdle also boosts your confidence. Use problem-solving skills to strategically plan for the next hold and position of your body. After each workout, let the feeling of accomplishment, mixed with happiness embrace you.

3. It enhances strength and flexibility.

And if you have yet to realize, bouldering forces you to use not only your arm strength, but more importantly your legs to overcome the fight against gravity. The body positions you may need to get into would let you have a new appreciation for the importance of flexibility. All these actions increase your overall body strength and flexibility. You will surely feel the burn after a good climb.

4. It is the most social form of climbing.

One of the best thing we enjoy about bouldering is the company. There are no ropes on the climbing wall to limit the number of climbers, and often, you see people working a tricky problem together. This means that even if you turn up alone, you will tackle these climbing challenges with a few others! Surely great company will make these experiences fonder.
